yesterday my mom, a.gladys, u.john, a.cynthi, a.mer, u.merv, u.ivan and u.chandran all came to me to find out where you were and to make sure you weren't in bangkok!...you're loved. there were bombings in bangkok yesterday and the day before so i know you're not there yet but please make sure that you check the status there before you go. there is a travel advisory issued not to go there. please be careful and come back to me in one piece :) enjoy malaysia...it's gorgeous. if you go to cameron highlands..stay at the Fathers Guesthouse it's the best one there and if you do the Boh Plantation tour that they have at the hostel ask for Kali he's a great guide and he loves the movie Madagascar! Ask him if he remembers the three Canadian girls!

Happpy New Year to you too John.  We rang in the new year at the Embassy Suites, they had a cool party there, and we were with our old friends, so it was very nice.  It was pouring rain outside.  No snow here yet!  Today my house was full, Carla, Melisa and Nadia and their families and the Rubino's and Quattrociocchi's came from Woodbridge, for a New Year's Day feast.  It was lovely, We all enjoyed it but now I am pooped out.  All this cooking!  Someone has to do it I guess, so this time was my turn!  I miss my sous-chef's!  When the girls were home, they helped me so much, so now I miss them, have to find a few shortcuts in my cooking methods I think!  Well have a great 2007, you will always remember this one I guess as the year you were so far away.  Loved that you sent the Auld Lang Syne, we missed the singing of it last night,  Take care,  Love, Zia Laura.
